No Peanuts

We hate those things -- flying everywhere, taking up a ton of space, breaking apart, sticking on the rug, curtains, clothes, becoming a cat toy -- going into baby's mouth. Nothing shipping from our warehouses will be packed in peanuts of any type. We rely on safe, light recyclable paper and the occasinoal bubble wrap.

"Open Box" Descriptions

Many of the products we carry are new, or may be new to you. We're the kind of people who like to fee things, shake them around a bit, red the instructions before buying. You can't do that online. So, whenever possible, we provide you the directions/guide/manual/thing-that-tells-you-what-you-really-need-to-know. Most of the furniture we don't have this information for, but you know the drill there. We're Old

Not to get too personal, we opened Inventive Parent in 2000 as a family inspired and family run business. We're still family owned and operated. There's a good chance that you'll talk or email one of the owners.

Price Matching

Okay, so that's 11 reasons. We will be happy to consider any the total (price, tax shipping and any other incidentials) cost of regular in stock items to ours. Our prices are what we are asked to charge, and, when given an option, are about as low as we can go. If we're off on somethign, let us know and we'll make it right. Read our Price Matching Policy.

No Sales Tax

A dozen reasons now. We just couldn't make them all fit in ten. We don't charge you sales tax. There is no sales tax in New Hampshire, and no reason for you to have to pay it!
